“Inspired pairing.”

What better way to pass the time on Friday the thirteenth than with Jungr and Keane, a match made in heaven. as they sang songs about Christmas, some good, some not well known.some familiar. It was an inspired pairing and after Dillie Keane destroyed The 12 Days of Christmas Barb Jungr, who can sing the songs of Bob Dylan like no other, had unearthed one he once recorded called Must Be Santa Claus which quite took the collective breath away. Dylan making a Christmas album somehow rings – well, as if the bell was cracked. Keane is famous as part of Fascinating Aida, while Jungr is a cabaret artist supreme. Put them together and they become something special indeed. For 70 minutes with Sarah Travis at the piano the trio held the audience enthralled – and at times weak with laughing.
